"The room was very small with a half window and half curtain covering a wall. The bath did not have conditioner and bath soap not refilled. Toilet did not flush properly. The bed was double bed, not queen. Breakfast was OK and the staff was helpful. One receptionist was very nice. Location not good, too far away from the Centre and not much at all around the hotel."

"Thai is a beautiful historic hotel right on the Bailgate, so close to the cathedral and other sites. The pub below is very quaint and enjoyable. The included breakfast was very good and a big selection for all tastes. The in room amenities, like coffee and water were great! Our only complaint would be the pillows. They were all rock hard and lumpy, even the one softer one. Better quality pillows would take this place up a notch for a boutique hotel."

"Room was clean but very dated with many signs of wear - rust on the shower and towel heater, mould around the silicon on the sink . Old fashioned alarm clock which was so bright and unable to turn off was annonying and had to be covered with a towel. The shared areas and outside also feel dated and showed main signs of wear. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was Ok."
