Great pub/restaurant/hotel. Menu, great variety and well cooked, breakfast was really good. Hosts were great, good friendly service. Would definitely stay again.

No major problems with the hotel. Host was very friendly and room acceptable. Only gripe was the shower controls, difficult to get the temperature right and watrr pressure which of course is not cotrollable by the hotel.

I would have given this property a 5 star review apart from the poor operation of the shower and toilet in our room.It maybe been due to low water pressure but the shower took at least 3or 4 minutes of running the water for it to get hot and it had no power .The toilet had a week flush and it took an age for the flush system to refill. However all other aspects of our stay were excellent.

Turned round and left
I turned up early thinking it was a village pub and I could have some lunch. Car park was shut and the owners were painting and told me that I could not come till four which meant a 3 hour wait. In disgust, I turned round and drove home 4 hours away. Asked for a partial refund and nothing was forthcoming..Will never set for in that place again

Although booking in time is from 16.00, early arrival if prearranged is available.An a family emergency was mentioned, a partial refund would have been available if the room was rebooked,(we are not obliged to refund)unfortunately this was not possible in this instance.We were informed by the agent a hotel was booked after this incident .

We were really happy with our stay. Recently refurbished, room was perfect and bonus to be able to have a drink and good food in the tasteful pub/restaurant. Owners friendly too. Gladly book again, thank you.

Relaxed and friendly
We was met with a warm welcome. Check in was straight forward. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed our overtime stay and would recommend to others.

Friendly hosts, good choice menu for evening meal enjoyed with a few pints of draught beer, comfortable room and bed, followed by a full English breakfast well cooked. What more can you ask for

It appears the hotel was not aware of my booking until I called ahead. I was advised to get food on the way to the hotel, As the owner was on her own. the room was dated, carpet questionable, mattress hard, and walls paper thin.

There was confusion with this booking.The guest phoned at 7.00pm on the booking date and said the booking had just been made and didn't realise the distance to travel, could it be cancelled?We advised to contact Expedia,they would then contact us, and we would agree to cancel free of charge. It seems the booking had actually been booked the previous day, not at last minute, as we were led to believe, hence the confusion The guest phoned back at 7.30 and agreed to take the room. Because of the distance involved was advised the restaurant would have closed before arrival. We are sorry to hear the room wasn't to the guest liking, all rooms can be viewed prior to booking on line.

A lovely little b&b, in the depths of Lincolnshire. Very welcoming hosts, very clean room. The only tiny fault I could pick, is that unfortunately, there was no shampoo in the bathroom. As I said, this is just 'nit picking', as everything else was great. Highly recommend the breakfast!!

Small friendly b&b, but very noisy from creaking floorboards and thin walls so other guests could be heard. Noise from bar until bar shut. Food was home cooked and was okay, breakfast scrambled egg and sausage was tasteless. But is excellent value for money. And was adequate.

It was a place to stay for the night, near by for seeing family. The place was warm and friendly, the bed was a little soft for us, but it was clean. The breakfast was great. All freshly cooked. Would certainly go again.

Nice stopover.
Very clean and neat. My single room, ground floor was a little bijou. All very clean, shower again a tad on the small size. the bed of metal frame type, a little hard round the edges but i guess comfortable to sleep in.The food i found to be of a very high standard and well presented. The bar, restaurant area very nicely done. Natives not particularly friendly. Staff brilliant though

Interesting experience, in the back of beyond! Pleasent enough place, with reasonable food and a low- book single room with shared bathroom? Not a place for a special weekend, but for someone working, birdwatching, trekking, etc it's ok.
