"Our room was clean although the building is a little run down, but the beds were comfortable. Our room was next to the boiler room so there was annoying noises during the night. The pools were well kept, the outdoor pool atmosphere is just amazing."

"Very easy check in, clean and quaint little cottage. Beautiful scenery in the back with the stream and covered bridge, and a nice bonus to catch the train going along the tracks. Would definitely go back again!"

"I stayed 3 nights. My experience with the property is very positive. 3 decent restaurants are located next to it. 15-20 min drive to Franconia State park. Although it is located next to busy Kancamagus hwy, it is relatively quiet ( request room in West lodge). The beds are very comfortable. The room is dated, but very clean. Daniel,the hostess, is excellent."
