"The facility and room were so bad, that the first night we checked in I called Expedia asking if we could get a refund for the remaining three nights of our stay. The place was old and run down, one of the websites advertised breakfast-nope, didn't have that, didn't even have hangars in the closet to hang your clothes-really? When I asked the front desk about that, the person said "there is a Dollar General down the street where you can buy some"-really??? In four days there, had trash in room emptied one time. Only reason we didn't check out and ask for a refund is that there wasn't much else available, and it was close to the venue we were interested in. Stay away from this one! Pay the extra money and get something decent."

"Got there early was told room was not available yet, but they took my name and said they would call when room was ready..they never called. I had to check back 4 hours later. Paid for ocean view. Room was at the front of the property so most of my “view” was the pool. Bed was not comfortable and needs replaced."

"Room was dingy and smelled mildewy. Lamp shade was stained all over and pieces broke off on bottom, broken tile on floor board going into the bathroom and sink was dingy and live small bugs crawling on counter/sink. Table to sit at looked like it hadn’t been wiped down and didn’t feel comfortable to sit and eat our food there. Overall would not stay there again and thought La Quinta inn was decent but don’t think I’ll ever book another La Quinta anywhere in the future. Not a good experience for me and my daughter. "
