"Our experience at Belamer Suites was honestly frightening and extremely disappointing. At 10:45 PM, while we were already asleep in bed, someone began knocking loudly on our door. We were not expecting anyone, and to make matters worse, we realized there is no way to lock the doors from the inside, which immediately made the situation feel unsafe. The person continued knocking and never announced who they were, which was incredibly alarming in the middle of the night. We tried calling the front desk multiple times and no one answered, which only made the situation more unsettling. Eventually the front desk called us back and casually said it was probably “the new girl delivering something to the wrong suite.” That explanation did nothing to reassure us, especially considering someone was knocking on a guest’s door late at night without identifying themselves. At that point we were genuinely concerned for our safety. We quickly gathered our belongings and went to the front office to explain what had happened. Unfortunately, the staff completely dismissed the situation, offered no apology, and made no attempt to make us feel safe or comfortable. Because of this, we felt we had no choice but to check out immediately at 11 PM and find another hotel in the middle of the night. To make matters worse, despite only being in the room for about 3.5 hours, they still charged us the full price of the stay at checkout. There was no flexibility, no understanding of the situation, and"

"We booked the hotel partially because breakfast was included. When we checked in, they said they stopped doing breakfast. Hotels.com was kind and refunded us our cost for getting breakfast at the Tim Hortons nearby. But the rooms walls were paper thin and you could hear everything going on, including the shower in the Next Room at 3:00 in the morning. Also hear the sound of wind whistling under the crack in the door. Next time I'll spend a little more and stay elsewhere"

"Hot tub jets were not working!!! The sheet had someone else’s blood on them!!!! Barely saw staff and when I did they were on their phones and the house keeping staff was very loud. "

"The staff was excellent but the hotel smelled of smoke. It was very plain and in need of updating. The carpet is so old and looks dirty. "

"Staff was amazing. Very accommodating. We experienced some major issues with our shower breaking and not working. Maintenance was up quickly. It was a lengthy repair. Antione was very professional!! He was super mindful of our family and the situation we were in. My two kids and wife and I had just got back from the pool and it was getting late. He was quick and effective and while he was doing the repair he sent us downstairs to get dinner at the restaurant. At first they said they didn’t have any room in the restaurant due to a party going on in there. So we went back to the room and when we got there he asked us why we were back. When we told him he waited a couple mins and said “I forgot a tool I’ll be right back” He came right back up and said “your table is ready downstairs”! We knew he didn’t go downstairs to get a tool. This man is the the true embodiment of hospitality and what it’s supposed to mean. I can’t say enough nice things about the man and the restaurant manager and front desk staff that night. Definitely saved our experience. "

"Very clean, very nice staff. Breakfast was just okay. I don't feel like they had everything they were supposed to have out. TV did not get all of the channels advertised. The only big negative is the internet. They want $7 a day for internet, but their "free internet" is unbearably slow. Everywhere else has free internet of adequate speed."
