Apparently the management had very recently taken over the tenancy which according to the manager was left in a dilapidated state. There were cheap air fresheners all over the establishment. We asked them to be removed, but the smell was impregnated and we had to have the windows open the whole time, ...

Spacious and comfortable suite in a beautiful house in a fairytale village in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. What’s not to love? Hostess, Jo, is delightful and the pub next door is great.

Very clean and tidy and welcoming. All utensils and amenities needed. Only downfall was parking which we were warned about. Had to park a good walk away and had to carry our belongings and kids and. Dogin the rain.

We loved our walk to the Shawl.
Nice little market town in the Dales.
Wensleydale is lovely, Leyburn is ordinary.
The Foresters Arms isn’t in Leyburn! It’s in Carlton.
