"This lodge has all the amenities! Staffs were super friendly and helping. Good location. Close (literally walking distance) to grocery and local eateries. Nice mountain view, around dusk a herd of deer went out of woods and ate grass in the front lawn =) The only minor issue I got was one of the beds apparently old and made squeaking noise. Generally speaking very satisfying stay."

"Fine place for our time there, for the price. Not too much at breakfast but there was a place open next door. Packwood is about the awesome places you go from there, not Packwood itself. Note to the management: do something with the old car by the staircase. That became the subject of many inside jokes on our trip. We didn’t mind it, but it’s just not a good look"

"Old motel was revitalized for today’s travelers on a budget. It’s on a busy road so we did have road noise, but it had all the essentials of a cabin-style stay. We walked next door to the speakeasy Irish pub for dinner and a drink and an awesome piece of chocolate cake before calling it a day. Friendly owners run the whole property."
