We have stayed at this charming family run hotel many times and will certainly come back. Location in the centre of the ancient village of Tällberg is beautiful and very convenient for exploring and enjoying lovely views and historical buildings by lake Siljan.

We loved our stay in this hotel and were only sorry it was just one night. Very friendly staff, a comfortable room, beautifully maintained hotel plus a really excellent breakfast. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed here for two nights in an unusually snowy April. We were welcomed by very friendly and obliging staff who spoke excellent English, and also a lovely woodburning stove. It's a relatively small family-run hotel in a gorgeous village on the edge of a big lake. Great location to explore this part of Sweden - we wanted to see artist Carl Larsson's house in Sundborn, the Anders Zorn museum in Mora and also the village of Nusnas where they make the painted horses. These were all quite short...

This hotel is steeped in history, and this history is clearly displayed throughout the hotel. There is a really interesting book in the communal area downstairs which is worth looking through.
Although the hotel could do with a decor update, it was clean and comfortable, with lots of the original features which added to the character of the building.
We didn’t have much interaction with any of the staff, so can’t really comment.

Nice big room.
The hotel is in a great location so it’s only a short walk from the centre of town.
We were lucky and there was parking right outside when we arrived.
My tip about the parking - when you arrive at the hotel they will provide you with the code that you should use in the parking app.
This will then allow you to park locally and be charged at the hotel’s discounted rate.
(Being British and still getting my head around the Swedish parking apps, I had misunderstood the email about...
