"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout our visit. They generously allowed us to store our luggage until 5:30 p.m. after check-out so we could spend the day doing research at the university library. Since the front desk is not staffed after 2:00 p.m., they clearly explained how to contact them. When we called, they immediately opened the door remotely so we could collect our luggage. It was a very clever and convenient system, and everything worked perfectly. Their kindness and flexibility made our trip much easier. We would be very happy to stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We had the beautiful loft room overlooking the canal.it was even better than the photos. The room was spotlessly clean. Every morning we enjoyed the complimentary coffee. The staff was wonderful and we loved the quiet walks along the canals to get to the center of town (about 15 mins). We would definitely stay again."

"Location was a stone throw from Leiden central station which convenient if you are travelling to nearby places. About a 5-10 min walk to the city center. Room was a good size and comfortable. Shower pressure was great! And the bathroom size is good. Note that the bathroom has frosted windows and is see through, it can be covered with curtains (from the outside). The rooms felt modern, wasn’t dated. Elevators only accessible by room key so is secured. Room was brightly lit and there is a small free bottle of water on arrival. Staff were friendly though check in was very slow. A shout out to Nadia at the bar would was very friendly and warm and helped me with some ice. The two downsides were that there was no fridge and no air cond. The climate control system is + or - 3 degrees but i didn’t feel it was working and the room can become a bit warm. The weather wasn’t too hot so I was fine but if you are staying during summer or winter, I would reconsider if the heat/cold bothers you. They also give you a voucher for a free small cup of coffee which was nice. It was good coffee too. Closest supermarket is the AH at the station (it’s a small one). If you want a full size there is also a jumbo near the station about a five minute walk from hotel. I would stay here again if it is not during summer or winter. It was a comfortable stay. Would love to see the hotel install a fridge for staying guests in the future, there is room for it in the cupboard."

"The property is very convenient to the shops and restaurants near the canals in Leiden. Our room was on the first floor, easily accessed with an electronic key. Some street noise was bothersome in the evening. The staff was pleasant but there is no 24 hour reception, so you may have to call if no one is available. Our room was lovely and historic with a very modern bathroom. Overall a good choice for Leiden."
