My daughter and I have just returned from a 3 night break here. The hotel is lovely, the property itself is beautiful, the location is perfect next to the canal, an easy walk from the station and in a quiet part of Leiden but within 5 mins of the centre. Our room on the second floor was stunning, very cosy. The best part of the stay was the staff, always polite, attentive and knowledgeable. Their English was great and they went the extra mile keeping us stocked up with English breakfast tea !

Everything at the Intercity hotel Leiden was perfect. The staff were brilliant always very willing to help, check in and out were simple and quick. My room was very clean and quiet and the bed and shower were great. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was very good. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful building, very nicely decorated and cosy interior. Excellent location to walk around the town and close to the station. Nice bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with an excellent shower. Great breakfast buffet and good coffee. I loved it !

Nicely designed room and bathroom and very spacious. The kitchette was lacking in amenities to be able to use it for proper meals (no toaster, limited cutlery/pans etc).
Hotel is staffless and you get the key sent to your phone to enter the main entrance and room (requires internet), this was fine for us. The hotel is a great location, right in the middle of Leiden centre.

The hotel was located very close to the train and bus station in a nice quiet street. It was about a 10 minute walk to city centre.
The hotel was nicely decorated, very very clean and a delight to stay in.
Breakfast was good, dinner was on the small side but good.
The only thing we didn’t like was the lighting- we found the room quite dark and it was difficult to read in.
The staff went above and beyond to answer any of our queries- they were superb and all was done with a smile.

The Indes is an institution in the Hague, and whilst some hotels rely on the past, this hotel excels on so many levels. A clean, modern, vibrant hotel designed in partnership with the neighbouring IKEA concept centre, and furnished almost entirely with IKEA furniture. That may not be everyone's idea of how a good hotel should be - but it works, and it's good. Parking is plentiful and inclusive, EV charging points too, cycle hire on site. The Delft City shuttle runs directly from the hotel car park. Adjacent to a busy IKEA store and motorway intersection. It's a half hour walk into Delft - and well worth it....
