The room and en-suite bathroom were very clean and spacious. Shower was excellent and water very hot. We enjoyed the proximity to shops and bars in the town. Staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful - there was an issue with the breakfast the first morning, which they sorted in no time. Attentive, asking my daughter about her adventures and generally nice and very welcoming! I was looking for a practical hotel to stay both for work as well to start cycling along the Rhine; Hotel Montfoort is picturesquely located in the historical Montfoort village, on walking distance of the beautiful castle. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the accommodation supplies everything you need for a pleasant stay and a good night’s sleep. Highly recommended.

Rooms were a little small but the hotel was clean, with good breakfast and easy access to shops and station

We chose to stay here as we were visiting Efteling - we were very pleased with the location as it is about 10 minutes’ walk away from the park! Free parking with EV charging by RFID card. There is a supermarket round the corner and a couple of restaurants dotted about not too far away. The room was lovely and breakfast was delicious, lots of options at the buffet. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel grounds, in a very picturesque part of Utrecht, 10 minute walk, at the most, from the station.

I missed the note highlighting reception shuts at 6pm, but I telephoned the contact number and my key was waiting in a lock box. Great location, central and easy 10 min walk from train. Interesting building with quirks and features - I'd stay again
