Great location

Clean and comfortable apartment in a great location. Only downfall is that we couldn’t find the tv remote :)

Disappointing

Disappointed. The apartment is adequate but could not be described as ‘deluxe’. Also, the balcony doesn’t have a ‘view’. It was all just a bit tatty - cracked tile, stained carpet, no lid on bathroom bin, no plugs in sinks (at least we couldn’t find them).The major problem was that the smoke alarm in the hallway emitted a loud beep about every 90 seconds. We rang to mention this and were given the advice to disable it. Although we were concerned about the safety implications of this we did attempt to follow the instructions we were given but the beep continued. Consequently, we were unable to sleep well. It was generally clean but washing had been left in the machine and a bit of litter in the hall. The entrance to the La Salle building and the staircase smelled very strongly and unpleasantly of the bin room and the next door flat to the one we stayed in was padlocked up which adversely affected the overall impression. We had looked forward to a little luxury and what we got left us flat (and tired!) The bed was comfortable. The TV was large. The equipment was sufficient. Shower was fine.

Girlfriends first football experience

We travelled up from the midlands to see the England Women play against the Netherlands and we had an absolutely fantastic time! The only downside really was that due to the timings of what we had planned we didn’t really spend much time in the apartment itself but what we did spend in there was great!
