"Clean but water didnt work for one day"

"We stayed for one night (with a toddler) and was a lovely stay. Good sized room, clean and friendly/helpful staff. Underground on site parking was good bonus, as was the proximity to the tram station to get into the city centre. "

"We spent a weekend at the Dom Hotel for sightseeing, shopping and to visit the Augsburger Xmas market, only a 10 minute walk away. We received a very warm welcome on arrival, the room and bathroom room were both functional, spacious and very clean. There was an excellent German breakfast selection. We definitely would stay here again."

"Check in was a disaster. There were two of us guests with the same last name and the hotel clerk only found the other man's reservation.This rude man checking me in continually insisted that I had to pay for the room although I had previously paid in advance through Expedia. After I explained and showed him my booking on my phone, he then conceded and gave me my room without any apology whatsovever. The rooms are more like dormitory facilities -- no toilet nor shower in the room, only shared facilities in the hallway. I had to walk 3 flights of dirty and dusty stairs (no lift) and am glad that I only had a light overnight bag with me. I'm shocked that Expedia has this "hostel" hotel as one of its listed properties. Avoid staying here at all costs!!"
