Hotel was brilliant, the main attraction was the setting, with stunning views of the lake and mountains. It is also a 10 min walk to one castle and a short bus ride to the other. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel with a rooftop bar underneath the mountain,- the best hotel x

My wife and I went here for our honeymoon. If there was a word that is above perfect, we would use it! Beautiful surroundings, big rooms, clean, a wide choice of amenities that you struggle to make a choice, friendly staff. A short review does not give this hotel justice. Easily one of the best I have ever stayed at, and you get to use the cable cars and busses for free too! This is the hotel for you if you love the countryside, mountains, and adventure, but also value comfort and style.

The hotel was slightly quirky which we loved. Really clean room and everything you would need and more. We had a family room which was really spacious and had some great features. Breakfast was excellent, really extensive with options for everyone. The parking was fantastic. Others had said it was tight but it was absolutely fine and great use of the space. The staff were really helpful and kind. The location was perfect for all the local sights and the restaurants in the evening. Thank you for...

Spa was great, lots of diffetent areas to try. Amazing views of the mountains and castle from the outdoor pool. Staff were very friendly, helpful and chatty. Nice welcome drink on arrival, food was lovely in the restaurant. Great selection of teas and local produce at breakfast. Room was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom.

Found the hotel to be very relaxed with a pleasant atmosphere. All staff were friendly and helpful. The room was impeccably clean and of a good size. The bathroom was as new and again lovely and clean. Appreciated the kettle and the limited supply of teabags and coffee. Had to ask reception for milk but that was no problem and they were happy to provide a little jug of milk. The location was pretty central with the shopping centre very close by. Loved our short stay here and would highly...

Great hotel in the centre of Garmisch. 5 mins walk to main shopping and restaurant areas. Amazing views of Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze, directly from our room. Good little indoor pool. Very friendly staff, wearing traditional dress. Bar prices quite reasonable. Half board has good breakfast buffet and three main meal choices (meat, fish, veg) soup dessert. Free minibar is true - you get beer and soft drinks most days. Parking very easy - €12 per day. The whole place feels...

Beautiful room, friendly staff, incredible breakfast, right in the middle of town. Loved it.

It's in a brilliant location, the room was lovey and clean. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was great, lots of choices even through we went down later.

Did not stay in the hotel for breakfast due to the location being close to excellent local bakeries

A beautifully equipped hotel with excellent facilities in a stunning location. Gorgeous food with a wide choice & variety & the most helpful of staff … especially Vaslav? on Reception ….. he is a treasure … so helpful & so genuinely lovely. Thank you Vaslav for making our stay so special.

Very mice hotel

Set in a stunning location easily located by car. Underground secure parking with easy access to hotel. Check in process was good but could definitely have benefited from a tour of all the facilities and given more information about what was and wasn't allowed. The aqua dome itself is stunning though overrun with children during the daytime. We didn't like that it was mandatory to be nude in all 2nd floor facilities and were asked several times to remove our bathing suits. In the evening the...
