"First I need to warn the readers to not use Apple Maps to get there because it will bring you to some random place on the other side of Toulouse. The chateau is out in the country side. It is a pretty building with beautiful grounds and the apartment we stayed in was very spacious, recently renovated with a terrific view of the adjacent county. The breakfast was typical French. "This is not the place to book if you’re looking for a typical Ibis type hotel, with streamlined bathrooms & smart decor. But if you’re looking for staying in a genuine old French country cottage, with welcoming owners and good food this place is worth a try. We enjoyed the food, ambience, & dinner outside in the garden."

"It is in a property in the middle of nature, surrounded by beautiful green plains, the place felt like a big home, cozy, the room very comfortable, and very clean; the bathroom has a big beautiful tub and also a rain shower. In the morning there were breakfast choices (self-serve) which was great! Nice area to sit outside as well. Room was good too. "

"I found this to be a traditional Chambre d'Hôte, where you don't feel you are in a hotel but rather a guest in the house of the owners. My room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts were very good, and the hosts were welcoming. What more do you need? The house is about a 10-minute walk from Gaillac across the river. It is also a fairly short drive into Albi, which is a small city that is well worth exploring."

The couple and their young daughter acquired the house and estate in 2018 to develop it as a vineyard, and a year later they opened four guest rooms.
