"This was a charming place to stay. The setting and grounds are lovely. It is a bit off the beaten path, but that is not necessarily a bad thing if you are looking for a calmer and tranquil stay."
"Staff was excellent and, like at most Fijian resorts, very friendly. We visit Fiji for the snorkeling and ocean. Your resort seemed to have to few available boats to support snorkeling trips. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nalagi Hotel and would gladly return in the future. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, efficient, and genuine. We stayed in Room 411 from the 7th to the 16th of July, 2025, and found the room spacious and very comfortable for the three of us. The staff promptly set up the sofa bed for our child, which made settling in easy and stress-free.
A special mention must go to the hardworking and friendly housekeeping team, whose attention to detail was impressive. The room was consistently spotless, and fresh towels, bottled water, and other essentials were always replenished with care and precision.
The complimentary breakfast each morning was absolutely amazing! There was a wide variety of delicious food to choose from—hot and cold options, fresh fruits, pastries, local dishes, and more. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. It was the perfect way to start our day.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with easy access to key areas in Nadi. We were grateful to Epic for organising our airport shuttle transfers, which were smooth and punctual both on arrival and departure.
What stood out most was the friendliness and professionalism of every staff member we encountered—from the front desk team, the luggage handler to the breakfast staff and beyond. Their warm, welcoming attitude made our stay feel genuinely personal and comfortable.

"This was an amazing experience. It was one of our first resort experiences and as a family it was perfect. There was so much for the kids to do, and we really could stay within the resort and have a great time. There were some good activities (snorkelling, diving, boating, jet skis) which were bookable and departing from Radisson Blu as well which was amazing. Also other local activities available via the tour desk.
The staff were all very friendly and amazingly responsive - whilst sometimes some inconsistencies (wrong number of towels being replaced etc) they were also so quickly resolved and without a fuss.
The rooms were fantastic and comfortable and oh my god the beds were perfect. Such amazing mattresses and cleanliness in the rooms.
The pool area was awesome as well - easily the nicest we saw on Denirau Island. Only irritation was the number of guests who reserved great poolside spots with towels and often wouldn't show up for hours... we tried to be good guests and avoid this but in the last few days it just resorts to oh well it's really the only way to get a good spot.
Will absolutely be coming back - all the staff were great and it was one of the best holidays. "
"I stayed in this resort for 6 days and boy was it wonderful. The staff were exceptional from start to end. Checking in was super easy as well as checking out. The musicians were super friendly. As it was our last day, the musicians found out and sang a special goodbye song for us. Thank you First Landing for such an amazing experience. And when the time comes then I'll definitely choose you guys."
"We had a fantastic stay at Smugglers Beach Resort! From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The resort has a laid-back island vibe with beautiful beachfront views and plenty of space to relax and unwind.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved being able to walk straight onto the beach and watch the sunset each evening. The on-site restaurant offered tasty meals, and the breakfast was good. The last day we didn't get to have breakfast because the Chef did not turn up to work, it would have been nice to have been advised so we can go eat breakfast at another hotel nearby.
Overall a great stay."
"It was a convenient place to stay close to every thing. The staff very friendly and helpful at all times. Mr Vueti Maraiwai the hotel night man was always kind and helpful
And welcoming. But there is a serious issue with the basin in room 237, coming away from the wall, and the surrounding basin top warped, with mouldy sealant at the rear of the basin, definitely needs fixing. Over all it was a restful apart from some noise from the night club on the corner of jet park."
