It was a nice stay here but not necessarily “walk out of your room and into the water” especially at low tide. Not their fault of course so still 5 stars. As with my other stay, the staff was incredibly friendly and the warrior dance night was so fun. Beautiful sunsets and the food was pretty good. No gym here also.

We absolutely loved our time here. We stayed in a beachfront villa and our kids LOVED having a private pool, and I loved the beachfront hammock. The villa is a great design, spacious with two large bathrooms, the outdoor shower was a great feature. Having a washing machine and dryer was also incredibly useful. Basic kitchen (no oven). Really good aircon. The resort was relaxed and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Breakfast highlights were fresh watermelon and delicious freshly baked pastries. The restaurant and bar on site had a good selection and was reasonably priced, food safety seemed high as we had no issues (nor did other guests we spoke to). The resort pool was also great - large and surrounded by lush tropical garden and we never had any trouble getting loungers. We didn't use the kids club as our kids preferred to stay with us. They organized a few daily activities (e.g. ice cream eating comp, fish feeding) and there were kayaks on site you could use. They organized day trips (for a fee) to nearby islands, where the beaches are a lot clearer and have snorkelling. There was evening entertainment a few nights a week, one with fire dancing. The restaurant looked beautiful at night, and the marina next door also looks very attractive (and a good restaurant there also). Being on the mainland meant we could easily drive to other activities and shops. It's not five star but felt local and authentic. I'd love to go again!!

The staff were friendly, and the service was fast and efficient, making our stay very comfortable. The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to everything we needed. Our room was clean, and housekeeping did a great job maintaining it daily. One of the highlights was the lovely beach and swimming pool right in front of our private villa—it felt very relaxing and exclusive. The only downside was that the room didn’t include plates or utensils, which would have made the stay even more convenient. The food at the hotel was amazing, with a great menu that was both affordable and delicious. Breakfast was especially enjoyable, offering plenty of tasty options to start the day. The complimentary drinks on Thursday were a lovely touch, and I especially loved the Bahama Mama cocktail. Service throughout was excellent, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. A big thank you to the staff at First Landing for making our stay so memorable and wonderful. Their hospitality truly stood out, and we would definitely recommend this place to others. The security was also excellent—we felt completely safe leaving our belongings in the hotel and had real peace of mind throughout our stay.

The staff at the restaurant were lovely. We were only there one night and in the older beach front Bure's. These are 25 yrs old appx so great for budget / back packers. Old mattress but everything else there that we needed and no TV. The newer bures/apartments may have more. Taxi was $45 Fiji from the Airport - we were told $90 by reception to return to Denarau Island. We got it for $80 direct with the driver. So ask and negotiate. Also I asked for clarification with reception and I don't think they spoke English or didnt understand. Pictures are legit - large bathroom, good sized bedroom for 3 of us. I knew we were on our way to Sofitel so this was a stop over only and I was attracted to the ocean side Bure.

This is a beautiful location with extremely welcoming staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was provided with many options all served with generous portions. The air conditioning turned a very warm room to a lovely cooled environment within minutes of putting on. Overall we would thoroughly recommend this location if you want a quiet and relaxed holiday. We stayed in the 2 bedroom beach front villa which was beautiful sunsets, clean and comfortable rooms and amenities. The air con in our master room was leaking but we just let the air con from living room flow through with no problems. Our room was not ready and had to wait at bar till 3ish but they were accommodating in allowing a late check out to make up for that which worked well for us going to airport later that afternoon House keeping and restaurant/bar staff are amazing - so friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the dinner and entertainment- food was delicious, we had all the curries and whole steamed fish + dessert, very satisfying and a good last meal on our holiday. Serenading band are very good too - lovely voices to soothe the soul 😍 Vinaka vaka levu for your beautiful hospitality 🙏

The best part about First Landing is the staff. So friendly, helpful and amazing with kids. We stayed in a 1Bedroom villa which was beautiful. Had everything you needed and its own private pool. The main pool is also very good, large and with lots of loungers/umbrellas around it. There was an activity board each day with lots of different things to do and excursions could be booked through the onsite tour desk. Tuesday night show was great fun too. But again, the people really are the best!

A mostly pleasant resort, with excellent staff. They really made us feel welcome. Building needs some serious maintenance. Felt I was ripped off when I tried to shuttle my family back to the airport and told it would be $150, instead of the $50 it took me to get there from the airport. Driver accepted $60 as that’s all the cash we had on hand.

A charming resort. Extremely friendly staff. We were in Villa 101 which was a little rustic but we loved it. The property has lovely shade, our own pool for cooling off, immediate access to the ocean and the best view for sunsets on Fiji. Restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Great rooms with plenty of space. Bathrooms are big and have a spa bath in ocean front Bure and apartments. Great staff and easy place to stay

We stayed for 5 nights here. The staff were very friendly, facilities very good and the food excellent, with plenty of choice. We particularly enjoyed the two shows featuring local dances performed by members of the staff.

We had a great holiday. The staff by and large is really great at First Landing Beach resort. The Nalamu Grand Villa was perfect for our two families of 5, with room space, facilities, location and privacy. Nothing beats a private pool by the beach! The food at the resort was a stand out! Offering delicious and diverse meals for everyone to be happy.
