Our room was clean, beds comfortable. No refrigerator. Bathroom lacked handrails in/around tub. Had to request bath mat, 2nd chair. Good security.

We had so much fun staying here. The room was clean and comfortable and up to date. Staff was friendly, the atmosphere was bustling. The Nine Irishman was top notch in food and drinks. The Mad Apple was magnificent and the piano bar was a ton of fun. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was surprisingly awesome. New York themed wallpaper and art. Big TV, nice shower, didn’t hear a thing drom other guests. The casino floor is pretty neat, lots of gaming options and bars/restaurants to choose from. This is a neat place. Highly recommended.

Rooms modern. Bed and pillows super comfortable and clean. Disappointing strip view for one of two rooms booked. Front desk staff not very helpful with explaining process for check-in. In our case one room not ready and we would get text notification. Within 10 minutes I got a phishing text. A paper property map would be nice.

Great central location and fun atmosphere, but lacking in the room. There was no fridge where the fridge would be which made it hard to keep cold drinks in the room. The tv is very old with very limited channels. Overall just kind of run down and outdated, but clean.

Pros: Conveniently located to shopping and other hotel casinos. Many varieties of restaurants within the hotel (America Restaurant was the best bang for your buck & food tasted good). Liked the lights indicating where parking was available in the parking garage. Worth purchasing the daily parking pass as daily cost could go up if an event is being held at the hotel or nearby. Big perk, you can use this same parking pass to park at any MGM hotel (eg: Bellagio). Like the entire streetscape of the restaurants within the hotel and found our room clean along with all areas of the hotel. Cons: A few screw ups when checking in dealing with room key not functioning and parking pass not being added to hotel room. Then when checking out, found out that parking was added to both rooms when we only had one vehicle. Highly suggest you ask them to print off your receipt when checking in to ensure everything is applied properly - though they did give us a $50 credit for the errors. Warning that smoking is allowed in the casino area.

We generally liked staying at this property. However, couple of issues make this a one-time stay only. Our room air conditioner was loud and the technician who came to service our complaint said that the sound was ‘normal’. The long cover over the air conditioner unit was hanging loose which the technician fixed, and surprisingly, he also replaced a very dirty filter. Makes me think- wouldn’t this have been done during routine maintenance?!! Lastly, the thermostat was locked and could not be adjusted to one’s comfort. My biggest peeve is that, it had a motion sensor cut-off. Obviously, there’s no motion while one is asleep- so the air conditioner kept turning off waking us up feeling hot. Bottom line- if I’m paying for a hotel room, I want to be comfortable and get good sleep. I didn’t have that experience on account of the noisy air conditioner and air conditioner policing.

We really loved our stay, staff was very helpful, rooms were clean and stylish, plenty of food options and the location was wonderfully convenient. However, room amenities did not include a mini fridge, so we had to rent one to keep our drinks cold (25us$ per night). That sucked! Also, did not think you could smoke inside the casino. Smelled very bad at times, so we never ate indoors in the very well decorated NY setups. That was too bad! Plenty of tables outside, so that was nice. Lastly, the casino section has very very low lightning. We prefered the Park MGM casino, Bellagio and Ceasars. Overall, the NY-NY was great!
