"I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. "We stayed in room 220 on 1st floor. About 15 steps to room. (In 3 sections). No lifts. I have walking difficulties but steps we ok. Room clean & basic. Large corner balcony overlooking the sea. Air con in lounge. On arrival Maria had left key's & instructions for us, easy! Pool area nice, clean & peaceful. Other than breakfast option which we didn't use. There is no food or drink service on site. But supermarket outside was very good for supplies. For someone with walking issue...

"Great time had. Their greatest asset is their staff. All warm and welcoming. Couldn’t do enough for you. Remembered me and my drink preference from a year ago! Don’t know how to they do it. Food options were more limited this time. But more space for more guests. Still excellent food though. Room was lovely. Very comfortable beds and spacious. Grounds very clean. Very clean through out. Towels seemed to be changed every day. Chocolate on pillow at night was nice. Will be returning a few times...
