"The parking is safe, the room is just barely average, and breakfast is plain awful "

"Great location! Nice room. The only downside is the shower. There is no way to turn it on without getting blasted with cold water. Comfortable beds with nice pillows. "

"The phone system was antiquated and broken. I had to get dressed and physically go to front desk at 230 am for help quieting a drain pipe noise outside our room. The person at the front desk was sound asleep in a chair."

"There was a highlighter marker under the heating/cooling unit, so maybe cleaning needs to be more precise. The rest of the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our body wash and shampoo containers needed to be filled, we had to use only the creme rinse."

"The rooms and grounds were clean. It was very nice that they have a mini fenced in area for pets. The elevator was broken during our stay and there was only one outlet in our entire room that worked. The location and shuttle are great the staff was nice and the hotel restaurant was delicious, we would highly recommend the Tacos Al Pastor"

"When we arrived to the to El Ray, they told us about an event and we were surprised. The front desk said that it was Expedia fault for not communicating to us. We were hoping for a quiet night instead there was an ‘event’ that never ended. When we complained we were offered a room in a sister hotel, Glorietta. We came to the room parked and got our stuff. A man and a woman from the adjacent room were smoking outside and talking, I was hoping they would go inside after a while. When we settled down they were smoking outside again. I asked them to step away from the rooms because smoke was going into the room. They ignored me. We went to sleep only to be woken up at midnight by a security guard standing around with a next door visitor , smoking, talking. His car headlight flooding room with light. I again asked them to please step away from the rooms because of the smoke. The guard said ‘thank you for asking politely’ and complied but by that time our sleep was completely ruined. The whole situation felt unsafe. "

"A sweet motel with thoughtful and intentional amenities. Rooms and beds were just what we needed after a day of driving. Utilized the small fridge in the room which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was delicious! Best complimentary breakfast I’ve ever had. Staff was attentive and helpful and also provided dinner recommendations. Will stay again!"
