This was one of the best hotels we have experienced in a long time. The Emerald House was spotless. The Staff, especially, Diana and Annabelle, went above and beyond caring for our needs for 11 nights. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have seen, in terms of the quality and variety of foods. When we arrived on the first morning, after flying 7 hours from the US, our room was ready early . . . thank goodness! Our room was lovely. It had a French balcony, which we thoroughly enjoyed. And then there were two occasions when we returned to our room and we found a fruit plate and lava cake on the desk. I can not say enough good things about our experience at The Emerald House!

"This hotel was dated the furniture was from the 80’s. The carpet in the hallways was heavily soiled, and wallpaper on the walls was peeling off. The hallways were dark. The sofas in the lobby and bar area need to be replaced; they are low and very uncomfortable."
