The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the food was absolutely delicious with a wide choice. Accommodation was very comfy and spacious. Would definitely recommend a stay here and would return to this hotel.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and this time we stayed longer because we like it. Excellent facilities, great food. Visited numerous times & always love it. Recommend the Spa, best to upgrade to a suite with sea view if you can. The hotel is placed halfway between the town centre & Rubicon Marina on the walkway by the sea which gives you the option to turn left or right for a stroll or different restaurants to compliment those at the hotel & to provide additional variety.

An absolutely gorgeous hotel; fantastic food, amenities, entertainment and children’s activities. But, above all else, the staff are awesome. I went on holiday with my 5 year old son after losing my wife and his mum to cancer 6 months previous. It was his first holiday abroad and my first without my wife. Many tears were shed but the staff went above and beyond to make this holiday special, I will never forget their kindness to me and especially my boy.

Nice hotel, lovely rooms and amazing food! Close to supermarket and shops and numerous restaurants and bars. A 3 min walk from the beach. Has a small shop on site for gifts and booking excursions. My advice would be to book a sea view room (away from the hustle and bustle of the evening and pool entertainment) and go half board to take advantage of the amazing food. Stayed at the La Penita Appartments for the past nine years as this they offer a first class service and we have been lucky to always get the room we asked for with beautiful sea views. The staff do everything to make our stay as good as it gets. Any maintenance problems are instantly put right and the maid service in our rooms are excellent. We found this hotel to be in the perfect position, right on the beach, close to the strip which has the traditional holiday beach front bars and entertainment, but also very close to the old port where there are some lovely restaurants and bars with fantastic views while the sun sets over the nearby mountains. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and professional. All areas of the hotel are kept spotlessly clean. This hotel is good for both couples and families.

Accommodation was very clean and in an excellent location for shops, restaurants and bars. We booked accommodation with shared shower room by mistake but it turned out to be ok. Staff were very helpful :-)

We have just returned from a great stay at this hotel. The staff were excellent and always had a smile and a greeting for us The food selection at meal times was very good , with a varied theme each night. Entertainment in the evenings was varied and could be improved.

I enjoyed my stay in Puerto del Carmen; it was just what I needed!

The food was excellent! Congratulations to the chef! Beautiful display of salads, meat dishes, fruits, fish and sea food, sweets. Comfortable beds. The knob of the shower did not work properly in the bathroom but apart from that it was an excellent choice.

These apartments are in a great location in between the Old town and the Strip, only a 5 minute walk to either. There is also a decent Spa shop 2 minutes away for whatever you need. Lomo Blanco itself is very well presented, very clean and most of the staff friendly. We only ate food in there once and it is definitely better to eat out everyday, it was a buffet and it was quite expensive. Good Hotel, very clean, excelent staff. Self catering. Very secure & pleasing hotel. Highley recomended. All rooms have balconeys. Good views internal over pools. Sun shines all afternoon on big arch blocks (two blocks) 90o degree block falls into shade after 15:00.

The Beatrix playa is a beautiful hotel in the quitter resort of Matagorda. The room was large and the view from the balcony was stunning. Clean and bright inside the room, with excellent air conditioning. Staff in the hotel are friendly and very helpful. The pool area can get busy but the beach is right in front of the hotel. Entertainment was excellent, both for adults and children. My only request would be to have a kettle in the room for a late nightcap of tea.
