"I usually stay here several times a year and sadly this time was terrible. 1. Our room had a moldy odor & we switched rooms. 2. The coating in the tub was cracking/ peeling off. 3. The pillows had stains on them. My aunt had similar issues including 4. Toilet was working 5. Remote wasn’t working. The cafeteria wasn’t what it used to be - the coffee machine is gone, the carafes were cold. -the waffle machine’s handle was slack/not closing so all the batter fell out when you twisted it. Not sure what happened but I’ll think twice about staying here again. "

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This review is specifically for those, like me, who are not familiar with the area so you know exactly what'd you're getting. This is not an affront to anyone less fortunate or in a lower socioeconomic bracket. It's is an observation and it was obvious that this "hotel" appeared and operated as it did because of is clientele. There's absolutely nothing updated, just painted over and masked. The room is straight out of the Bates motel, the bathroom wasn't clean, the exterior walls were dirty and looked like they hasldn't seen a power wash probably since it was built. The bed felt like cardboard and the towels were stained. I purchased a towel, showered in my slippers, and slept on top of my clothes. Yes, I hear the question, why did I stay??? I come from humble beginnings and not a stranger to "roughing it" It was a one night stay and that's about all I was willing to tolerate. I knew something was different when I walked of my room and observed individuals who appear to be living there or at least had been there for awhile. Also, another resident, I mean customer appeared to be under the influence and I don't mean intoxicated. Yet, a third "customer" was having a mental health moment. Again, I'm not trying to be disparaging, nor am I averse to the population, I work with them everyday. I just expect my hotel experience to be at a certain standard and less of a shelter experience. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK."

"The staff is absolutely friendly but the scent from the rooms was horrible. The pool was closed even though it’s indoors. Breakfast was repeated and lacked options. We request air fresheners to spray our rooms and they said none was available, next time I’ll request for them to spray the room. The scent was that of a locked and neglected building and the smell of urine lingered from behind the sofa. The hallway smelled as if something died and they tried to clean it but the scent held on for dear life. Vacuuming the carpets with scent booster powder might have helped. The positives: the staff was super friendly."
