"AVOID. Difficult to know where to start.
This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. "Ive stopped here many times over the years, its quirky and a nice location, but it lets itself down badly . No redecorating has been done since opening. The stair carpet needs binning, dirty and stained , paintwork tired and chipped . Old sofa and TV, smell of fried food from cafe downstairs doesn't help. The top floor room I was in, one of the Velux windows wouldn't close properly. The place is very tired unfortunately "
