"Very nice hotel within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. We didn’t eat there but it has a nice rooftop terrace with a small pool. The rooms were compact and bijou with a very comfortable bed. A good choice as a short stay base whilst in Vienna."

"Mooons is a great hotel near the Main Station in Vienna (3 minute walk) which was very convenient us as we did not rent a car. The hotel is unique with a moon theme throughout. Our room was a Standard room with a Garden View. We were on the 6th floor and the view was great. Others in our party stayed on the 2nd floor and their view wasn't as great. The bed was very comfortable! The shower was wonderful! We loved having air conditioning and a mini fridge. The huge round window with a cushion to sit/relax on was very unique. The only suggestion we have for the room is to either get rid of the carpet or shampoo it more frequently as ours was fairly stained. A great perk was free drinks in the bar in exchange for forgoing housekeeping services! The bar served a variety of drinks and had a small selection of hot food items available. This hotel has a rooftop bar that is open to the public and was quite popular during our stay. We went up to see the view (beautiful!) but there was no seating available. Everyone at the rooftop bar were quite dressed up, so consider that if you plan to hang out there. In addition to the Main Station, Mooons is near grocery stores and restaurants. We used public transportation to travel to other parts of Vienna including Old Town."

"Comfortable bed and room, plenty of space, bathroom was clean and spacious and modern, there was a smell of bleach coming from the bathroom though, which is the main reason for not giving it 5 stars. The check-in process is automated so if no staff available you have to do on your own, personally i found it annoying but is normal for some. Location is great for those wanting the train station, is soundproofed so can’t hear anything outside, air-con was great."

"I intentionally booked this hotel because of its excellent location, just a short walk from the main train station. It was especially convenient since I planned to take regional trains to other EU countries during my trip. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-designed. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. My room was spacious enough and even had a large sofa, which was a nice bonus. The bed was comfortable, although I think the pillows could be improved. Still, after long days of sightseeing, I was able to rest well. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. There are just a few areas where the hotel could improve. Drinking water is only available in the main lobby, which isn’t very convenient for guests staying on the upper floors. There is also no self-service ice machine. If you need ice, you have to go downstairs and request it from the bar. When the bar is closed, the only option is to ask the front desk, which isn’t always the most convenient arrangement. Despite these minor inconveniences, I would still recommend this hotel because of its excellent location, comfortable accommodations, and helpful staff."
