"Such a wonderful place to land after 22 hours of travel. I took a hot bath, slept great, and had a delicious breakfast surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Easy to find, great staff, and certainly worth your money!"

"A lovely traditional style home in a fantastic location. Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and a nice spa. A very good breakfast included. Free parking Location and view are fantastic, with a couple of mins walk to the Windermere cruises dock, with easy access to Bowness and Ambleside. There are several nice walks in the local area. The rooms are a little dated/traditional in style, and the bathrooms could use a little refurbishment but the room was very comfy and well ventilated. No issues with that as long as you aren’t expecting a brand new modern style of room decor. Fantastic view of the lake which was a joy to wake up to. Service in the restaurants was very good and the staff were helpful. Overall a very good stay and I would happily stay there again."
