The host, Paulo & his family run a beautiful, historic (yet modern) boutique full-service hotel experience. Room & bathroom are incredibly well appointed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We just can't say enough great things about & if we ever get the privilege of returning to the region, we will stay here again without hesitation! Grazie mille Paulo! "

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and it was defiantly service with a smile. "Avoid this place at all costs! These are the rudest and most inconsiderate people you could ever encounter. My train from Venice was delayed for an hour, which caused me to miss my connection in Florence and arrive two hours late. Even though I informed them about the situation and the trouble we were going through, they called me disrespectful, canceled my reservation as a “no-show,” and charged me a penalty — leaving me, my husband, and my son stranded in the middle of nowhere without a place to stay for the night. I am deeply grateful to the kind local people who helped us, but I would never recommend anyone to stay here. I’ll make sure my experience is shared everywhere tourists might look, so no one else goes through this nightmare. I felt robbed and mistreated — especially shocking in a region known for its warmth and hospitality. "

"Great rest stop on our way to Rome. There is no direct access to the lake (it's about a 2 km walk/drive from the hotel), but the hotel is clean and nice. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the free continental breakfast was wonderful! Great selection of pastries, and two very excellent coffee/cappuccino machines. Overall, a great place to rest, in a quiet, peaceful area."

"Nice quiet hotel even though on the main street of the castle area. Staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the price was a bargain. The room was quite small but there is a common area where we could hang out a couple of times. Parking is by the hour in the nearby area so recommend you get the parking app, which was also useful in other towns. "
