Quiet, quant property with plenty of amenities. Very close to the town of Chiusi and several local wineries. The infinity pool was a beautiful way to enjoy a sunset and a bottle of local wine.

We stayed at Il Patriarca for 1 night. After arriving, we wished that we would've had more days to spend there. The hotel was beautiful. We arrived rather late, the staff was so accommodating and even gave us a room upgrade. The bathroom was so nice and clean, it was more like an "American" bathroom. You know what I mean if you've spent a decent amount of time in Italy. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There is a nice breakfast in the morning that is included with your stay. They had many items to choose from and of course cappuccinos! We didn't get a chance to have dinner in their restaurant, but we did talk to a couple that did and they said it was very good. The grounds were meticulously kept, and it was a beautiful place inside and out! We will definitely stay there again if we ever get the chance to return to Italy! The pictures don't do it justice, you have to see it in person! Thank you for your hospitality!

Terrible experience throughout

Throughout our stay there was a terrible smell of sewage in the hotel especially in the lobby. The doors were kept wide open to have fresh air come in. It did not help. Talking to the staff they pretended that everything is in order. The room was warm so we opened a window. Had to shut it off immediately because of the smell. We ate at the Michelin star restaurant at the hotel. One of the worst meals we ever had. the food was mediocre, and, every now and than a smell of sewage was introduced as aroma.

Absolutes Lieblingshotel in der Toskana

Die Lage ist klasse! Nahe zu Umbrien und Latium. Die pittoresken Orte Montepulciano, Montalcino (für Weinliebhaber) und Pienza (Pecorino!) befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ebenso die Seen "Lago di Chiusi" und "Lago di Trasimeno". Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und elegant, der Service zurückhaltend, aber überaus freundlich und herzlich. Frühstücksangebot kann man für Italien als gut bezeichnen. Die Taverna ist sehr zu empfehlen, v.a. für Fleischliebhaber. Es befindet sich sogar ein Restaurant mit Michelin-Stern im Haus (I Salotti), das ich leider noch nicht ausprobiert habe (Mo und Di geschlossen). Sehr empfehlenswert sind die Junior Suiten und die Suite Giulietta (ausgestattet mit Himmelbetten).

magnifique emplacement en limite TOSCANE/OMBRIE

Séjour de plus d'une semaine,la situation de Chiusi permet de visiter les villes et villages vers l'Est:Pérouse, Assise,lac de Trasimène et vers l'Ouest Montalcino,Montepulciano,Pittigliano,Sienne et encore au Sud Orvietto par des routes esthétiquement magnifiques mais dont le revêtement laisse à désirer.A Chiusi très beau musée de la civilisation Etrusque.Splendides villages,sur les hauteurs,jolie restauration.Hotel IL PATRIARCA à recommander pour son accueil,les chambres,et sa trattoria,les cuissons au feu de bois.Magnifique piscine bien exposée donnant vue sur la campagne
