Very nice facility, but as with so many "resorts" now, there are many add-on charges beyond what the room rate originally appears. We did have an excellent meal and service at the Osteria Sierra restaurant at the hotel.

Pepper Tree Inn
Won't stay here again. Advertised amenities are inaccurate. There is no pool. Front desk isn't that helpful for booking issues - they just direct you to Expedia.

Cedar Glen Lodge
Super cute cabin and lovely setting. Had some trouble with finding parking for a second vehicle — one staff person told me we had to go all the way to Kings Beach to park it, which was not very helpful. Aside from the parking issue it was a great place to stay.

Best Western Plus Boomtown Casino Hotel
Nice staff, clean rooms, well maintained facility, but long way to rooms from parking and too much smoke from the casino. It’s a great place for a dedicated gambler.

Staff very nice and helpful! Breakfast was delicious, with a lovely view of the lake across the road (loved the hip retro alt rock music that was playing too). The whole place has a cool hip vibe.
