"Stayed overnight between a trip to Annecy, France and Majorca. Used the complimentary travel passes provided by the hotel for a family trip into Geneva for the afternoon. We walked to the airport station to get the train into Geneva. This took about 10 minutes and was an easy walk. Enjoyed using the travel pass for free water taxi rides across the lake also. We had a suite with 2 rooms and it was a similar price to the Travelodge we stayed in at Edinburgh airport the night before our flight to Geneva but with the addition of 2 bathrooms, complimentary bottles of water and much more space for a family of 4."

"Lovely, clean room. Helpful staff at front desk. Directly across from train station where you can get to and from airport in less than 10 minutes as well as around city. Less than 10 minute walk to city center bus station. Nice nespresso machine in room and a few complimentary items in minibar"

The Freddie Mercury Hotel

"As a Freddie Mercury fan, it was quite a novelty to stay at this hotel, from the moment you walk in you see all Queen and Freddie art work. The hotel is directly accessible from the train platform which is very easy to locate. It is only about 5 to 10 minute walk to the main part of town into the waterfront. I was lucky enough to get a room with a Terrace and had a view over the back part of Montreux. They have central air-conditioning so you cannot change it however they do give you a fan to help with the heat. Overall I would give this hotel 8/10 and would stay again.
