    This is a good stop-off point especially for travellers arriving at Santander on the ferry, which now docks at 6pm. It takes about 2 to 2 1/2 hours drive from Santander, virtually all on the A67 motorway, so it is a good place to break the journey to Portugal or south-western Spain. We found the hotel very good value, clean & comfortable, friendly reception staff( & English speaking), & decent good-value food. It's not the easiest place to find, but is right next to a petrol station & roundabout on the outskirts of Venta de Banos.…
