"Palencia is a very pleasant quiet town. it made an ideal stopover with an opportunity to visit the very interesting cathedral which is full of treasures. "When we first travelled in Spain 30 years ago, this was the typical hotel. Honest to goodness accommodation for travellers. It was fine. Comfortable and clean. Old fashioned but fine.
