Staff extremely helpful with advice on local restaurants, weather and booking trips for us. Easy walk to and from town, but there is a shuttle car service in the evening for when the weather makes walking less appealing!"

"Destino Calafate was a pleasant surprise for the decent, economical pricing they had! The hotel room was spacious, we as a family of 4 had plenty of room with 3 beds in the room. There are a lot of storage space and shelf’s which made it convinient to store all our luggage’s. We initially only planned to stay 2 nights , however due to the comfort and convenience of this hotel and staff being so courteous and welcoming , we decided extend ti 4 nights instead of staying in el chalten. El calafate in general is a central location to several places like el chalten , a Torres del Paine , Perito Moreno glacier etc and there are daily bus tours to al these places available and they can pick you up from destino calafate. "
