"Loved our room (#7) and the wonderful private outdoor lounge space. Staff was very nice (the night agent could have been more friendly), restaurant staff was great as was the registration desk agent who greeted us. The view of the beach and the hillside houses was really lovely. Breakfast was very good but nothing special. Dinner at Blue was outstanding as was our lunch at TheOyster Lounge. This was an outstanding choice in a lovely little beach resort town. Would love to return and would definitely stay at Abalone again!"

"Superb location for ‘ either side’ of the beach, with path directly onto the beach. Delightfully peaceful, with easy access to local restaurants. Staff very helpful in locating places to visit. I can thoroughly recommend Bay View Guest House. "

"We loved our little chalet which was really comfortable and immaculately clean . It was a little hot even with the air con on but the outside temperature was over 40 degrees which is very unusual . The food in the restaurant is great and the pool area is nice . There are tame deer who are really sweet and hang around the chalets in the morning . The game drive was superb and we saw loads of different animals . Last but not least are the wonderful, friendly and extremely helpful staff . We mislaid our car keys and everyone helped us search until they were located . I really cannot fault this place and it’s great value for money . We will be back . "

"The room was very clean, bed very comfortable. The area for me wasn’t safe. There’s no secured parking, the cars park outside in front of the shops, even though there’s cameras but it’s on the main road and it’s a busy road. There’s no WFI also."

"Lovely studio apartment right on the beach with fantastic views. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lovely friendly staff who were very helpful. The only slight disappointment was that the pool didn’t appear to be cleaned during our 4 night stay. There was an automatic cleaner but due to the proximity to the sand the pool really could have done with a good manual clean. "
