We loved the staff here, they were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. Property was charming (especially the bar area) and clean. Our only complaint was the street noise, which is unavoidable in this neighborhood. Bring ear plugs!

The staff was so amazing and the building has a beautiful historical feel to it, very beautiful and feels like authentic Bolivia, I highly recommend this hotel

Room was interior room with windows that opened into the hallway and a stairwell where people walked by. Didn't open the windows for security and privacy concerns, stuffy and no fan for ventillation. Restaurant was told we had a plane to catch and asked to prepare a (simple) pasta dish and bring the invoice. This apparently didn't translate well since it took discussion with FOUR people to mostly get this resolved. Otherwise decent hotel with a great location but these two experiences left me with an overall negative impression.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing, the breakfast was wonderful and the location couldn't be better. We had one of the front rooms and were glad we brought a sound machine. Even with the great windows it would have been a bit loud. But there are many other rooms further back that likely wouldn't have had an issue.

Fabulous place. Lovely architecture. Lovely staff and an oasis right in the middle a chaotic, but exciting town. HOWEVER: bring your earplugs. There seems to be a disco next door and there is thumping beat till 3 am every night! I would still come again but ask not to stay in room 104 or on that side of the building and definitely bring your earplugs!

The hotel staff was very helpful and nice. The room was spacious and very clean, but a bit dim. It would help if the light were better. Breakfast was good and the facilities are very pretty. It is in a very convenient location if one wants to do day tours (which I did).

Very nice hotel with good restaurant on site, beautiful rooftop breakfast terrace, you can walk around everywhere, 2 blocks from witches market. Stuff was awesome!

Unique property. Liked the top floor breakfast view and lower roof patio areas as well as the lounge/bar areas on the main floor. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Connected restaurant is also great.

Castle type of environment, feels like going back to history of glorious days. Great roof top gardens for you to enjoy after a days touring. Friendliest stuff that try their best to help that make you feel like home with the family. I have been to many European and Asian major cities, but I have to say that this one stands out! Seriously recommended! Thank you!

Oasis in noisy S Francisco plaza
Stayed at this hotel 4 nights. Clean, spacious room with comfortable beds. Enjoyed the reading lights by the bed. Clean bathroom. Hotel is steps away from S Francisco church. Convenient location for historical district. Once inside hotel, you are away from the noisy and congested street. All the staff were very friendly and attentive to guests needs. Good breakfast with variety of foods. We Aldo enjoyed the bar and its lounge. The only minor issue was that after we checked out and paid our bill as we were getting ready to leave, The staff asked we pay additional charge for phone call? Otherwise wonderful pleasant hotel with excellent service and facilities.

A beautiful hotel with great amenities. We arrived at 2am and they grated us and settled us in. They stored our luggage for the day before we left and were helpf throughout. Coca tea on offer all day. Great breakfast too.

La Casona Hotel Boutique is a beautifully restored Spanish casona (mansion) with totally modern infrastructure (electric, plumbing, wifi) - it's like staying in a museum with every modern convenience. Their breakfast buffet is of high standard, with a wide variety of offerings. The management and staff are very kind and helpful, fetching taxis, calling museums, ... The staff morale is high and they gladly provide excellent service. I've stayed in La Casona for 12 weeks now, on several occasions over two years, and couldn't be more pleased.

Great location which near witches Market and the church. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Service response rate is quick on fixing the hairdryer. Helped us arranging laundry pick up and drop off with a local laundry store.

Great location , major tourist places are within walking distance! A beautiful colonial style boutique hotel, very helpful and professional staff! The hotel restaurant is full of very high quality foods, we enjoyed 2 dinners and 2 breakfast which are very delicious ! We would like to definitely recommend to our friends !

Excellent stay in la Casona. Staff were very attentive and professional and the location was very central in La Paz. Wifi very good and overall we were very impressed by the colonial style oasis in the hectic and bustling centre of La Paz. Breakfast is also very good with lots of options. I thoroughly recommend for the very pleasant staff and an ideal location to discover la Paz.
