"This was a highlight on our drive from Lyon to Nice. In the charming small town of Fossano Italy, this beautiful former monastery was a special treat. Service was outstanding - friendly, respectful with English spoken flawlessly from many of the staff. Our room, with sky high vaulted wood beamed ceiling was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. Modern bathroom with finished concrete bath and lovely toiletries. We enjoyed an apero in the bar ( complete with complimentary charcuterie plate at happy hour) and then dinner in their restaurant. Dinner was at a fine dining calibre with a modest price tag. Breakfast, included with our stay was filled with freshly baked cakes and pastries, fruit and delicious coffee.
As fairly seasoned travellers, expectations in this mid price range are hit and miss. Palazzo Righini hit it out of the park. Grazie Mille!! 🇮🇹❤️"
"This hotel is lovely. The staff is very helpful and attentive. The rooms are gorgeous and quite comfortable. Santa Vittoria d’Alba is a quiet village without much to do and that is just what we wanted. It was a great location to rest after full days in Langhe.
The only improvement would be a better breakfast offering. Other hotels in the area offer a greater selection of fresh produce and pastries. "
