"Staff was super friendly. Room although fairly basic, was very clean. What you're paying for here is the overall property and amenities --- great breakfast, nice restaurant, thermally heated pools, cold pools, souvenir shop, clean shower & locker/bathroom facilities, very close to town and attractions, and an incredible view of the volcano. In short, I would stay here again for sure. Value for your money is really good."

"Hotel is perfect size with more than 8 hot spring pools at different temperatures. Breakfast was good with lots of vegetarian options. Ambience is awesome, green, natural and walkable. They only have one restaurant, the second one opens only on weekend."

They also give you the option to book different tours in La Fortuna through the hotel when you get there. I highly recommend the water rafting (action/adults)! Overall, a great experience and I would come again."

"The many hot and cool pools were always clean and never crowded . Staff were so helpful and friendly. Always leaving a special surprise in our rooms . The buffet breakfast had a large selection of western breakfast options as well as a Costa Rican option ."

"I stayed here for three nights. The first two nights were great, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, my last night raised serious safety concerns for my family. I had to wake up early the next morning for a six-hour drive to Manuel Antonio, but around 1:00 AM, the unit next to ours started playing extremely loud music. A visibly intoxicated couple was yelling and screaming with no regard for others. I attempted to call the front desk multiple times, but there was no answer. After about 30 minutes, I open the door and yelled out if they can turn it down.. Unfortunately, another 30 minutes passed with no change. I tried calling the front desk again, as well as the emergency line, which shockingly went straight to voicemail. Around 3:00 AM, I approached the unit again, and the situation escalated. The individual became aggressive and attempted to provoke a confrontation. This only made things worse, as the noise continued even louder afterward until 5A. At that point, I felt completely helpless not only unable to get any rest, but also genuinely concerned for the safety of my wife and children. While the property itself has potential, the lack of responsive staff and proper security during a situation like this is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend considering other resorts, especially if safety and support during emergencies are important to you."

"The stay was a highlight of COSTA RICA travel. This property gives you a chance to enjoy the combination of a wonderful hotel stay (with breakfast included) and hot springs. Take time and enjoy hot springs in combination with cold water swimming pools. You can spend 2-3 hours in the evening, and same time in the morning just after your breakfast. "

"I was pleasantly surprised, the photos online were pretty but once we got there the views were breathtaking. We took so many pictures of the volcano and the lake but still could not capture the beauty this location offers. The rooms and property were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. My favorite part was coming back to our room to find a new animal crafted with towels everyday, we were there for 8 days, I thought they'd run out of ways to fold the towels but they didn't. I highly recommend this place. Thank you to everyone working at Hotel Linda Vista for making my stay so pleasant."
