Quiet clean property that gives you some traditional Japanese experience. The bed mats though authentic, were a bit uncomfortable but overall excellent spot.

We appreciated the heated bathroom feature, the comfortable tatami beddings, clean bed linens and pillow, the thoughtful amenities within the house, the convenience of this location to accessing the train terminal and other local business. We did not appreciate the street noise coming through the gaps in the front windows and walls at the front of house.

A tradional style property in an excellent location. Modern bathroom/ toilet with a functional kitchen. Not in the middle of the tourist areas so travel needed but buses are good

Traditional beautiful home

after a long train ride, the reception and check in by the train station was flawless. Walking the 12-15 minutes with a baby and carriage, suitcases, playpen, etc for my daughter, her boyfriend and baby wasnt the easiest. But when we opened the doors and went into the home, a huge smile came upon our faces. It was perfect. Everything that was listed online and more. Comfortable. Great instructions. Modern. Simple to cook in the mornings and then spend the days out exploring the wonderful city of Kyoto. The neighborhood was simply amazing. We would certainly stay there again and have recommended it to other family members.

교토역에서 가까운 가족과 함께 지내기 좋은 숙소

교토역에서 가까운 위치 (도보 약 12분)이고 깔끔한 일본집입니다. 다만 침실이 있는 2층을 오르락내리락하는 계단이 급하여 아이가 있는 경우 신경이 많이 쓰이네요. 어린 애기들의 경우 베이비 게이트 같은 장비를 설치할 수 있으면 더 좋을 것 같습니다. 일본집이 겨울에 춥긴하지만 1층에 바닥 난방이 설치되어 있고 에어컨 난방을 이용할 수 있어 따뜻하게 날 수 있습니다. 꼭 다시 묵고 싶은 숙소입니다.

Good value hotel and local living experience

we stayed for 3 nights. the place was clean and comfortable. 15 minutes walk to Kyoto station. The only thing I would like to point out is that the staircase is rather steep, which elder people might find tricky. Overall we love this house and highly recommend it to everyone.

quiet neighborhood in kyoto

we loved the guest house. located just 3 blocks from train station. loved the residential neighborhood, including the person clacking wood blocks together to remind the neighborhood to put out their candles. such a cool tradition that is still in place today. the house was spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. loved the traditional features mixed with the modern features of the home.

Great location lovely house

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. This place was easy to find and only 5 minutes to local restaurants and a 7/11 store, and 10 minutes walk to Kyoto station. The house is clean and well equipped. The customer service is so friendly and helpful. The only thing I would like to point out is that the staircase is rather steep, which elder people and young kids might find tricky. Overall we love this house and highly recommend it to everyone.

A clean and well contained house.

Its a very nice and comfortable house. However, the rooms are located on the 2nd floor, we had to climb a flight of rather steep stairs to reach the room. The only toilet is on the ground floor, going to the toilet at night is a little challenging.

we stayed for 3 nights. the place was clean and is especially helpful since we cook simple dinners at night. it is in a quiet vicinity and just a few minutes walk from Kyoto station. it seems far but with public transport, it's actually easy to move around. It's very well equipped too. Just nice for our family of 5.

漂亮方便的住宿

整體來說是間很棒的住宿, 地理位置不錯, 離京都火車站走路約八分鐘, 但是冬天入住非常寒冷, 等待暖氣熱起來要很久, 咖啡機是膠囊咖啡機但是三孔插頭找不到電源可以插, 其他都很棒!

Nice ryokan-type room

This place was the nicest place our family stayed in Japan. This was a traditional type of place with a lot of modern upgrades. We really enjoyed the space and the separate living quarters and the washrooms were impeccable. Recommend this to anyone! Just a short walk from Kyoto station, very easy to transport with bags.

Good value hotel and local living experience

The hotel is about 10 min walk to kyoto train staion. Its very suitable for group of 4 people. The bath room is really gd. everything is tidy and clean, a bit smaller than i thought but its good enough.
