"Athena Resort is a fantastic unique hotel in Ninh Binh, the little house style accommodation feels like a home away from home and the pool facilities are expansive. The staff were fantastic including helping us to confirm details on sleeper buses we were taking to the next leg of our trip. The resort is standalone so is extremely quiet and tranquil with the small village of Tam Coc not too far away (20 min walk down a single road over the rice paddies), or a quick taxi / bike ride. "This homestay was lovely - the facilities were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the family were very helpful and way more attentive than we expected! Definitely stay here if you are looking for something chilled. The main street for Tam Coc was only 10 meters away."
