The property is amazing and I have stayed there many times however the resort has lost many of its experienced staff which has made a huge difference to the atmosphere my suggestion would be to bring some of those staff members back

I have stayed at Rama many many times the resort is missing quite a few experienced staff members who actually made the stay at Rama amazing but unfortunately they have been replaced by younger staff members and the service and atmosphere just isn’t the same However the resort is amazing but some of the rooms are looking a bit tired and need maintenance but I am sure once the funds start rolling in again all these things will be attended to

We liked the traditional style of the hotel and pool villa room, which was spacious, clean and private. Staff were always helpful and courteous. Gardens were well maintained and beautiful. We enjoyed the different choices of food available for breakfast. Taxis always available outside, money changers opposite the hotel and many vendor shops not far, including access to the beach. Not many people dining at dinner time - perhaps the hotel may need a change of menu or introduce something different like a band playing or karaoke? Some of the cheaper rooms looked like they need maintaining from the outside (rooms located on first floor). Overall we were very comfortable and enjoyed staying at the Rama Beach Resort. We would recommend staying here.

The pool area and gardens were lovely. Breakfast was great! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bathrooms are a bit dated. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family of five spanning 3 generations stayed at the Rama for a week over the NYE 22. We found excellent, consistently attentive staff hospitality and warmth and enjoyed our stay at this Balinese family owned hotel. As other reviewers have noted, Covid-19 has affected some of the cosmetic maintenance of the hotel’s ornate stone features, decorative details, and pathways but this is now resuming. Staff always worked hard, and with a smile, with warm service, accommodating various requests when these were made. We requested a room change after finding drain smells in the toilet one of our rooms and this was arranged promptly and without fuss. Later, an additional bed was requested and bed-setups changed in one room - again arranged quickly and with a Bali smile, and late checkouts given. Special note must be made of the excellent restaurant manager Ayu - who somehow remembered everyone’s names and frequently checked up on us at breakfast and other meals - a personal touch in the midst of the busiest times of the day. They worked hard to set up and deliver an expansive New Year’s Eve buffet for all guests, with excellent entertainment. A relaxing, chilled out stay, not too crowded which was good, with great hospitality.

The staff was very nice except front desk employees. The rooms had upgrades for sure but more needed. Our main issue was the bed which was problematic in the middle where the mattress did not join properly. The hot water kettle was working without light so had to call staff to double check. The kettle was dirty inside

This beautiful holiday destination has character, charm and professional staff. My daughter and I felt welcome and cared for beyond the call of duty. We were greeted by name, with every need for filled including our dietary requirements. We will be returning and recommend to other travellers.

We stayed in both a deluxe room and a villa, both were very spacious and well appointed. The staff and their communication between themselves made our room upgrade so smooth, and they couldn't do enough for you. So professional and always amenable and friendly. A well run resort. It felt like family to me.
