Hotel is located at a convenient spot, just 15 minutes drive to the airport. Staff is friendly and rooms are very spacious. Family friendly and ideal if you are traveling with young kids. Just room interior was little old and property is lacking cleanliness.

Lovely well located friendly hotel. Clean and relaxing area. Staff friendly and helpful. Bath towels need to be replaced, thin and fraying. Breakfast lovely but no bacon only beef and chicken bacon available. Smoking around breakfast area is very annoying and needs to be addressed. Have stayed here many times and love the location and feel but a few issues need to be addressed.

We loved the cocktails by the pool, fabulous food at the Brassiere, but most of all the wonderful team. They were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would gladly recommend this hotel.

SMELLY! We arrived and was put into a room that stank of mould and mildew. We complained and were offered another room which smelt better as it was obviously sprayed with room freshner. It smelt all good for ten minutes then stank of mildew again. Suspecting that all the rooms smelt like that we asked for a refund on health grounds and we were declined. No way would i subject my family to respiratory problems. We had to leave and book another hotel at extra cost. The room was also very dirty and the walls and ceilings stained, toilet and seat stained also. DO NOT STAY HERE! You will be disappointed.

Really nice staff but so much is lacking about this hotel. Our room was overwhelmingly smelly of mould & there was no way to receive fresh air except to leave the door open. The worst part was the noise. Sound transferred badly into our room. People made lots of noise all night. We left exhausted. Also really frustrating not having a drying rack to use after pool use. Every other hotel in Bali seems to have these. Really good proximity to Waterbom but Kuta beach is a long way from this hotel.

We loved this hotel. Typical Bali style which we love. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was stunning. Pool was a perfect temp. Family room was large. We were sceptical after reading reviews however after our stay with 2 kids would definitely go back. I could not fault it and we have stayed in some very expensive hotels.

We stayed here before COVID a couple of times and loved the hotel. It is still great and the staff are amazing but it does need a bit of TLC. We will stay here again as we know they are doing their best to get the hotel back up to standard. It was lovely to see how busy it was whilst we were there!

Little worn down but great hotel still
I have been coming here for 10 years and love this hotel. The staff are incredible, it’s a quiet and small hotel perfect for families. After COVID there are some major renovations that need to take place - bathrooms need deep cleaning and mould removal or redo’s and the pool has mould growing on it. I understand these are massive jobs to redo and hopefully in time they can be fixed. Good points: incredible staff, great breakfast buffet selection, brasserie restaurant at the front amazing as always, daily house keeping did a great job and check in was smooth as always. In saying this we will still be back to the Bali rani and we hope in time it returns to the wonderful hotel we’ve always known it to be!
