Check in staff were amazing. Downstairs restaurant and bar was great and just what was needed after a 5 week trip around Japan. We didn't love the area compared with others areas experienced on previous trips to Tokyo but we are probably too old and uncool to appreciate it. Our biggest issue was the size of the room was so small it was difficult to fit in two adults and two modest suitcases (Superior Double).

We reserved this beautiful hotel very last minute to escape the noise of Shinjuku.
It felt authentic and peaceful.
The beds were incredibly comfortable and the relaxing amenities were a major plus. Would highly recommend for couples 35+ looking for a quieter stay in Tokyo.

This hotel is very convenient since it is very close to the Shinagawa station so we stayed at this hotel several times. But it seems the quality and service of this hotel is declining. This time, the room was not ready till 16:15 for 15:00 check in. And we were told that our check out time is still 11:00, the normal time. Staff were not that friendly as used to, and had less smile.

Guest rooms are designed with a focus on customer convenience and comfort. The man at the front desk around 8 PM was incredibly clueless. My room was in a separate building, yet he directed me to the wrong elevator. He couldn't understand any English at all.
