"The bed was clean, but there were tears in the sheets. The tub was surprisingly clean too. The hallways clearly have newer carpets. After that, out all goes downhills 6. The in room carpet was totally gross, the shower grout discolored, and not enough parking spots available due to ongoing construction vehicles and storage units. I would not recommend starting here. "

"The room was very small, the bathroom was quite slippery, the bedsheets looked clean but smelled bad...one pillow case had dried booger...the admin staff almost seem not to want to engage with the guests...they charged for parking in the carpark, that should've been complimentary at least...not even a couple of bottled water in the very small fridge...over all we are not going to use the hotel again...and will not recommend to any of my friends who wants to go to Cairns...very disappointing."

"Grate place to stay had a good time. But downfalls were the staff at the bar both at the poo and outside the pool were pretty bad. They seemed like they were all having the worst day and like it was a big inconvenience to take your order. There was no conversation so nothing just plain rude pretty much mannerism every day at the bars. Staff at front desk were always lovely though. And as far as wet weather activities at the resort there was none so that was a bit of a joke not even having a games room."

"We've stayed here a number of times since 2020. There appears to have been changes in ownership in recent times as some things are different. We always stay in the premium side (see their main pic) which is separated from the other side which has the cheaper accommodation. There is keyed entry into this complex as added security. There is no lift in this complex and you have to climb the fire escape stairs if you are on the top (3rd) floor. The rooms are of a generous size and have balconies. They have a microwave and some have a full size fridge. There is off-road parking and generally, you can get a parking spot. The lower floors are prone to exhaust fumes when guests leave their car running for long periods of time. Staff smoking is on one side of this complex and if you have a room on that side, you can smell the smoke - even in the higher floors. Our air-conditioning wasn't working when we arrived. They moved us to another room on the same floor without any issue. When checking out, the receptionist was really nice and helpful. This was a marked difference from when checking in and that person was not too welcoming. We will stay here again when it is reasonably priced as the rooms are a bit tired. We like that it is reasonably central and there are some good take-aways within walking distance around the area. But like anywhere these days, care needs to be taken when walking."
