Clean but small room
Like-Location, Secure ,Efficient staff, Quick check in & out. Creative Hotel facade design. Rain shower & heater. Dislike-Hotel entrance not easily located.Opening Toilet Door by the small hole can cause injury. Toilet Floor magnetic door holder place at the middle of toilet floor dangerous & may trip us No Shampoo holder at shower area & was placed at the at WC area. Small room compare to other similar price hotel. Room with no side table.No clothe hanger. No hanger at toilet.

The cleanliness on the bedsheets really need to improve. We were feeling itchi and need to use our own towel to lay on the bedsheets before we sleep. It felt so terrible.

The room was so small that i couldnt even open my suitcase. Wifi connection was unstable. We could hear everything from next room. Location was great.

Friendly place in a good location
Been here for the third time, so it cannot be a bad place. Small rooms - as anywhere in KL in this price range - but comfortable beds, good bathroom, spotlessly clean. Windows, which cannot be opened, face an inner indoor courtyard, so there is no noise from the street. Location is right in the middle of Petaling Streetmarket. You can watch it from the terrace in the second floor. Great location. Breakfast buffet is reasonable in that price range. A simple choice of bread, eggs, sausages, jam, butter and some fruit. Nothing fancy, but it is breakfast. Plus juice, coffee or tea. WiFi is good, everything works, staff is very friendly. I would stay there again.

Loved it!
Great location in the heart of Petaling St & close to Central Market & the LRT. Great view and place to relax on their deck. Quaint rooms and some had interesting glass-enclosed inward facing mini verandas. Friendly staff, too.

Booked the room and got a confirmation email which clearly says that the room is confirmed no need to make a call to reconfirm. Got to the hotel and saw a notice that it’s under renovation! This piece of information is not updated on the site whatsoever. Called the front line few times and no one picked up the phone. If you’re gonna be unavailable for whatever reason, please for Godsake update it on all the sites that you’re advertising on. This is truly very disappointing and unnecessarily inconveniencing customers. Never a second time.

The hotel was in busy chinatown but somehow the room was quiet. It was very very basic but good value for money. I liked the people working at the desk.

Small room and a little uncomfortable for 2 of us
We stayed just one night, thanked god. The receptionist is nerd and the first impression is bad since I am the one who says "Hi/Hello" to greet them. The room is too small for both of us compared to the hotel we stayed a night before. The bed just ok but the glass compartment to separate room and toilet is not sealed properly that caused the water leaked to inside of our room. There is no TV. And the breakfast on our day is just slices of wholemeal nuts fruits bread, slice of watermelon, and hot coffee/tea. The price to stay is quite expensive and somehow not worth if I compared to the stay we had a night before near Pasar Seni.

Disappointed.
Booked based on high reviews from some websites. Disappointed by the room (strong damp smell, a girl's long black hair inside the bed, broken toilet seat), by the manager's attitude on the second night when "they ran out of towels" and asked us to come back later to collect some (we did come back from a dinner out at 10pm to be told to walk back to our floor to find the cleaners who give us some. No cleaners there. So back to the reception where the manager grumpily asked a staff member to get some towels from a nearby room) and on the Last morning breakfast staff looked miserable and clearly didn't want to be here despite our attempt to greet and smile to him.

Hip lost hope ....
One of the worst hotels I have stayed at in Asia (for the price charged)! Also, I have stayed in other hotels in KL, and this was the worst. When I walked into the cubicle-like room (room 3xx), the disinfectant smell almost knocked me out. The next day, it was still there. The room was a "Queen with a window". What a view!!! Oh - where is a closet - nope. Oh - where is a TV - nope. Oh - where is a place for my clothes or even a hanger - nope. Oh - where is a place to hang a towel when in the shower - nowhere. The shower door hasn't even got a handle, and the walls look like they shouldn't be touched or leaned against. Complimentary water - nope. Complimentary air was about it! What a depressing way to ruin the end of my holiday! In its next reincarnation, it will be a police interrogation room.

Spartan, but adequate for those on a budget.
The hotel is well located in the heart of Chinatown. The room was spartan but adequate. This hotel offers a nice continental breakfast in the morning. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, this may not be the ideal place to stay for those over their mid-twenties who have outgrown hostel private room style accommodations. If you are on a budget, but value your privacy, this hotel may suite you. Consideration: was a shower that leaked into the main room and hallway, heading out of the room. Plus: Proximity to great, inexpensive food.

Good hotel in China town.
The room was a bit smaller than I thought. Everything else was good. Room was cosy and clean. The staff members were very nice. There is a train station near by that was very convinient. We were all good but please be aware: It was a bit hard find the entrance and the taxi could not go into the Chaina town so we had to walk for 3 minutes to get to the hotel. NO wifi in the rooms only in the common area. There is no fancy breakfast. Just some bread, fruits and coffee. We had good experience.

Terrible stay
Stayed for one night. Despite the affordability, the soundproofing of the rooms were appalling. You could hear all the prominent noises from the Chinatown market downstairs until early morning, plus the noises from the corridor and the room next door. If you expect a youth hostel environment, it is fine. Or else, I would not recommend this place.

the staffs are not very helpful or cheerful. they don't even respond to greetings, such as good morning. the room is bare with only the beds. There is no t.v., telephone, desk or a chair. The electrical outlet don't work. I couldn't charge my phone or laptop. It is very inconvenient for me to go to Starbuck everyday to charge. The outside noise is very loud. It usually woke me up at 4:00am with loud music. The worst is the shower. the bathroom door don't close and there's no curtain or door to the shower. Water usually splash everywhere on the floor. It is not a good place to spend more than a night.

I've stayed in much better places for the same price in KL. This place is good for backpackers who wants to be smack dab in the middle of China town. The area itself is not too safe and there are no parking at the hotel itself. This property should be called a hostel, motel or just a bnb, not a hotel. Pros + It's cheap and better than other budget hotels. Contemporary design. Good common area. Free croissant, fruit & beverage for breakfast. Working shower with hot water. Basic bed, Cons - Dirty room and old, moldy looking bathrooms. This place needs maintenance. Pictures are exaggerated. The common area is pretty but the rooms are not as promising as it was in the picture. Smelly room with dirty/sticky bedsheets. No parking. Sketchy looking elevator. It was really a disappointment. We expected more from what we saw online and their picture gallery. Here's a better hotel for the same price : Bello & Bella. The location isn't in downtown KL but I'd rather travel a little more than to spend another night at this place.

the room itself is very small but tidy, and only 3rd floor got tv and window, 2nd floor has only window and if you want a tv, you gotta pay extra for tv service.even for a water you gotta go to reception to drink it for free, and i dont know if its a advantage or disadvantage but the hotel is at the middle of the night market. but they have really nice breakfast and cafe with a good view.

Great place to stay to enjoy the local culture
It's was a great experience to stay in such a nice architectural hotel. The service was good. It is definitely a great choice for backpackers however, as we are driving there, we have difficulties in getting a secured parking overnight with a reasonable parking fees.

It's an amazing hotel in all aspects, just lacking in table and shelf in the room and also hanging places in the bathroom. Very conveniently located in the Chinatown.

Surprisingly good hotel, quite in the night, comfortable room. Cleanliness isn't great though, and the main problem is weird door to the bathroom, not sure why people think that having a glass door with holes everywhere is a good idea. Staying here with more than one person in the room isn't a great idea, but if you travelling alone - the place is almost perfect for the price. The second small con is that "window" is heading inside the building (inner yard). Actually it's great, because you don't have to hear all the noises from the outside, but curtains should be better, cause they are not blocking the light properly.

Basic room but good location
The room was basic but clean. It contained just a double bed and not much space for anything else. No amentities, such as a TV or fridge. The view from the window was the inside of the hotel. The bathroom was ok, though no curtain separated the toilet and the shower. But there was enough space between the 2. Plenty of hot water. And the AC worked fine. Breakfast consisted of a large croissant and coffee, along with milk and one or 2 other items, such as sliced cheese, bananas. Good location, right in the middle of shopping street in Chinatown. If you're looking for a cheap watch or knockoff bags and Tshirts, you're in luck.

Petaling Street, right in heart of Chinatown -easy access to all transport hubs, great food, fashion and shopping options - get real - your in CHINATOWN !!! unreal Massage place opposite (ask for 'Apple' -gives great reflexology). Older, female, solo traveller - no worries, no problems an exceptional experience, even catching Local Bus and Trains at night to and from Petronas Towers, KL Sentral and walkable to Bird Park (not to be missed)

Great location and nice hotel
We stayed for 3 nights. Location is brilliant right in the Petaling street. We had problems with our room so had to move out to another bigger room thanks to the friendly French member of staff. Rooms are quiet, no so spacious but good enough. Shower is great! Breakfast was included and although basic they serve amazing coffee, fruits, toast and nice jam and yoghurt too. They have amazing terrace with great views of the market below. We would stay again!

good for a budget stay
pros: extremely excellent location, walking distance to various attractions. nice staffs, willing to help at any time. breakfast is great and free. cons: too small room, poor wifi, no desk or table, window cannot be open cause it is just a glass... sheet is not that clean. in general: a relatively good choice for budget stay in KL, just for a sleep. do not expect much and this can satisfy u.

Funky place in the centre of Chinatown.
We stayed three nights at this funky hotel which is a bit like a hostel but with individual rooms (ours with en-suite) but i do think some have shared bathroom facilities. Although the rooms are tiny the architect has made very clever use of the space in this narrow building in the centre of China town. All rooms are facing a (covered / enclosed) courtyard with NON opening windows wich gives you a somewhat "claustrophobic" feeling but on the other hand gives you a clean and quiet surrounding which otherwise would be imposible in this erea of town. The service is friendly and helpful and they serve a simple but lovely breakfast in the morning.
