Every detail from checking in to checking out was amazing. The rooms and service was impeccable and the views were amazing. The game drives were fun and insightful. And the food was extremely good with a revolving lunch/dinner menu every day. Best hotel I've been to.

Highly recommend! First, the views from the train are incredible. Second, the food is very very good and you will definitely gain some weight. 3 meals a day that are all to die for. Wednesday and Saturday dinners are very special and highly recommend. Last, the safaris are at 4:30am and 4:30pm. The drives are fun and have great wildlife viewing. Can see the big five in 3 days or less. We stayed for 7 days and it was amazing!!! Very relaxing and they treat you like royalty

This was the best hospitality I've ever experienced. My son and I loved staying there. It was so unique to be on the train, and it was very clean and luxurious. Our guide, Thuli, was amazing and extremely knowledgable on our game drives. Highly recommend her too!

Unique accommodation. A must stay! Staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating. Everything about Kruger Shalati is special. I went on every safari ride, which was so special, so it meant I didn't get to take in all that Shalati had to offer - lounges and pools. So, take a safari ride off and enjoy more of everything Shalati has to offer. The food is 5-star.
