"We got a call on our way there to check all was OK. When we arrived we were checked in super-efficiently and with great understanding that we were really tired. We were asked for dietary requirements so that we had suitable food for breakfast, which were there just as requested next morning. "It seems like a great hotel. Rooms clean, breakfast amazing. However, there was a very loud wedding organised during our stay. Couldn’t sleep until 1am and reception was gone at 11pm. Should be managed better."
"The staff was very friendly and helpful which you don’t always get in Czech unfortunately. The restaurant was surprisingly good, the pork chop was the best I ever had. The rooms were nice and clean, exactly what we needed while in town for Brutal Assault."
"This hotel is a 10 minute ride to downtown and the train station. The rooms are great, however there is no air conditioning, which was miserable in the heat of summer. Even if you cool the room down at night by opening doors, for some reason the room heats up again. It was 28.5 degrees Celsius in my room with no way to cool it down. They say they have "cooling units" that they can put in your room, but these are no more than fans that blow hot air around.
Staff was pleasant and helpful... when...
"Really cool hotel in an ancient Medieval building right in the heart of the city. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and I love that it was downstairs in the old wine cellar. And our room was MASSIVE and had a great shower and lots of closet space and shelves. I also love the free coffee, tea and snacks in the lobby that we could access 24 hours a day."
