"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! "Lovely stay at Anthos Apartment! Location is perfect and you have supermarket and bakery (with great freshly brewed coffee) in a walking distance! Super helpful and staff and amazing service! The pool connected to the apartments was perfect and our kids enjoyed it a lot. The only thing we could have wanted would be to have the trash emptied more often or have a container to drop our garbage in, before the cleaning would arrive."

Only 20 minute drive from all of the pristine beaches around Plakias and 20 minute drive from Rethymno for shops and city life while enjoying Crete’s mountain vistas and nature. We also enjoyed the beautiful pool. Supermarkets and Spilli are just a short drive away. We had it all! The host was very helpful and kind. Highly recommended."

"Everything about this property says luxury and quiet indulgence. Set away from the town by a lovely 5-10 minute walk, it’s away from the crowds and noise of beach taverna but still well and easily within reach. There is a supermarket across the street, two bakeries 1 minute walk away, and plenty more a 5-10 minute easy and lovely walk. The beach is across the street maybe a 3-5 minute leisurely walk. It is on the main road so sitting outside you can hear traffic, though inside you hear nothing. It didn’t bother us, just something to be aware of. Also the pool in the suite is very cold. The room itself is understated without austerity, clean without sterility- a perfect end to a glorious beach day or exploring hiking trails within walking distance! The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great, keeping us quite cool in the evenings and making our sleep some of the most restful we’ve experienced. The breakfast was a major highlight- try the Cretan and the Cretan bowl! Without fault and always served with the classic Greek sense of quiet hospitality. The staff was next level. Helpful and friendly, they really went the extra mile, helping my husband and myself plan a cooking class, a massage, or whatever we wanted. There is so much nearby to do we were never bored. There is even a nice little fitness room with dumbbells, a treadmill, and a bench! We stayed 10 nights and it was perfect from start to finish. I can’t recommend Amente mindful stay enough and we will be back!"

"Room was perfect, being west-facing meant the mornings stayed nice and cool, which was great for breakfast outside, and then the afternoon sun was ideal for sunbathing. Having the pool right by the room wasn’t just a gimmick either, it was so nice being able to jump in whenever we felt like it. Parking was really easy, with plenty of space available. Breakfast was delicious and always arrived on time in the slot we picked. We really liked being able to order it on the app each day, it made it super flexible if we wanted to skip, go earlier, or have it later depending on our plans. The beach was only about a 5–10 minute walk away, and we could use the sun loungers all day just by ordering one drink each, which was great. Would definitely come back again!"
