Hotel Hippocampus

"Don’t look any further. This hotel was spectacular. We had an unfortunate Air BNB experience and had to leave after one night. We had plans at 9 am and lots of luggage. We booked with Hotel Hippocampus and they allowed us to leave our bags that morning until we could formally check in. Our room was spacious, beds were comfortable, TV had access to our apps at home and the location in Old Town was unbeatable. Staff were lovely and the included breakfast was delicious. I will say that the website warning regarding music being played at until late at night was correct. We had ear plugs and a sound machine and could still slightly hear the music, but slept soundly and wouldn’t stop us from staying here again!"

"The road to get to the hotel was a bit tricky but then when you get to the hotel the views are amazing. Its close to the Old Town aswell as other attractions."

"Even though they said the property was remodeled last year, there were cracks in the floor molding, mold in the shower and wall paper was pealing. Outdoor chair cushion was stained. The view of the water from the ground floor room balcony is hidden by hedges. Breakfast was a huge buffet but not what Americans might be attracted to. Lots of lunch-like savory plates: deli meat, cheese, salad, vegetables. They did offer eggs and fruit and pastries. But I could not recommend the breakfast."

"Beautiful property with great water access and a great breakfast. Just fad enough from Kotor to avoid the cruise ship crowds. A couple of suggestions: 1. Get a shuttle that goes to Kotor every hour. 2. Clears the cars the upstairs taxi pick- up area."

"The view was simply amazing. Requested daily housekeeping which was great. Small kitchenette handy. Note no lift. Also free parking outside but road surface dusty meaning shoes dusty when entering room."

"The location was perfect right in the center of Kotor old town. The room was very spacious too and clean. Drazen was very helpful on check in. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling to Kotor."
