"It is a very lovely, quiet deluxe hotel set back from the street. The service was impeccable, with free shuttles at call to and from the hotel. Remember to book in advance if you are arriving from the train station as this will save you the taxi fare! The rooms are large and the public bath is a treat. "Quiet and older onsen by the river and train tracks in Gero onsen town. A shuttle service is providing certain hours, but we opted to walk to the resort from the train station. After a hot bath I recommend having a nice cold milk from the vending machines. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and it was fun to try the dinner/breakfast. Some instructions and info on how and what we were eating would have been nice but not knowing is a fun part of that experience! Thank you for having us!"
