the accommodation was average. the breakfast area, although very close to the beach, was too far away from our villa. there was a problem with plumbing and drainage which needs to be addressed. owners and staff were friendly, and were helpful with any problems.

Just the FACTS-no hot water-bad breakfast-beach OK
Facts: Upon check in the advertised bungalow on the beach we booked for 4 was meant only for 2 people, so they had to split us in two different rooms. One of the rooms they offered us for 4 was very far from the beach, about 7-10 min walk, so we chose the closer to the beach option. Bugs on pillows and sheet, NO HOT WATER for two days in the beach bungalow Mosquitoes were flying through the broken screen in the bathroom and we only noticed that two days later - after got bitten every night Dinner at reastaurant was pretty good. Breakfast was VERY limited. WiFi was OK. Bad service overall

An adequate place to stay.
Tonggad is an adequate place to stay. Most of the staff are very friendly and will do their best to help you out. The food in the restaurant is fine and at a good price, although breakfast is a bit limited. There are also several other restaurants in walking distance, including a very good pizza place. The main problem with the property is that it is a bit spread out and there is no real reception area, so if you need to seek assistance, it can take some time.

Wee book to villa 2 rooms but after one night we replace to one room near the beach it because it was very far from the beach and every things and there was a lot of ants. the beach is bad for swimming and we went to another beach (silver beach) for swimming the restaurant there very good

a great place!
owner was great, staff was nice, the beach wae clean and quite, the room we were offered were far and we did not even ask , the owner upgrded us to a diffrent one without hesitation...the spa lady was great, manicure and massage were the best! the only problem was the lack of masquito gear and nets in the room

Could not have asked for a friendlier more helpful staff they were great. It was low tide so there wasn't much of a beach food was pretty good hotel room was great but the beds are hard it's expensive to get around on the island could not have asked for a friendlier more helpful staff they were great. Brought toys from their home for my child to play with in the pool. Disappointed in our stay.
At arrival even the taxi driver did not know where to drop us for check in, after walking around the facilities we found someone to check us in. Felt more of an inconvenience to the owners than guests. The wifi was horrible even after asking many times and they restarted the router I think and it never was too reliable in the restaurant/pool area and never connected in our room. The menu at the restaurant was ok but could not be charged to room so we always had to bring money when lounging at the pool if requesting a beer. Bed broke on night 1.
